Rod specifically had the number “Seven” in mind for the theme and title for this album. The selection of “Seven” was spontaneous and completely intuitive along with the writing of the songs. All packaging panels incorporated the number “Seven” theme in literal or in abstract form in support of the creative process of the album. In the design process, the shape of the number “Seven” emerged unintentionally while using a filter in Photoshop that created the 3D form from a random graphic configuration that was carried throughout the packaging using Adobe Illustrator.
